OTR, CLT-LANA

Susan G. Cox, OTR, CLT-LANA President Sue is the founder of Cancer Rehabilitation Specialists Lymphatic and Venous Disorders, Inc. Sue has 35 years of experience in rehabilitation medicine and health care management. She has 350 hours of training and 10 years of full time experience in lymphedema treatment and cancer rehabilitation. In 1996, after 23 years of experience in cardiac and neurological rehabilitation, she developed the lymphedema treatment program at a major KC suburban hospital. In August of 2000 she started her private practice in order to provide a more comprehensive and flexible cancer rehabilitation program with access to all.

Sue currently teaches the lymphedema section for occupational therapy students at Rockhurst University and has been a guest speaker in the "Women's Issues" course for physical therapy students also at Rockhurst. She frequently lectures for support groups, churches, physician groups and insurance companies. Sue speaks at the annual "Women of Cancer" symposium and the annual "Issues After Breast Cancer" conference.

Her experience was recorded in interview format with Larry Moore, news anchor for KMBC in the lymphedema chapter on the Cancer Matters CD, which is available at CRS, any Kansas City Cancer Center or contact CANCER MATTERS at cancermatters.com for more information.

For this reason CRS has created a new subsidiary called Silhouettes. This new on-site service includes our own therapists and staff who are certified custom fitters of garments, bras and breast forms.
