Laine
Bowman
MA, OTR, CLT-LANA
Laine is a licensed occupational therapist with 22 years
experience in rehabilitation medicine, pediatrics and
health care administration. She earned her M.A. in Adult
Education from UMKC, B.S. in Occupational Therapy from
the University of Kansas and a B.A. in Communication Arts
from the College of New Rochelle.
Laine has worked in the school, acute care and rehabilitation
settings. She received her 260 hours of lymphedema training
through Health South and Klose-Norton that certifies her
as a lymphatic therapist. She also holds board certification
from the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA).
Laine joined the CRS team in October 2001. She brings
skills in communication, education grantsmanship and program
development. She is responsible for and facilitates our
Overland Park support group. Laine is a certified fitter
of mastectomy products, ready made and custom breast prosthesis
(Radiant Impressions) and compression garments.
Laine was presented with the Missouri Outstanding Clinician
Award in 2005.
